What is Coloniz?

Coloniz is a next-generation community platform designed to help you own, grow, and monetize your community without relying on closed, traditional platforms.
With Web3 integration, cryptographic security, and AI-powered tools, Coloniz makes it seamless to engage, collaborate, and scale your community while retaining full ownership of your content.

Ready to get started? Follow this guide to create your account, join a Colony, and start engaging!

Step 1: Create an Account

1. Visit coloniz.xyz.
2. Click the “Create Account” button.
3. Choose a username (it must be unique). If your preferred username is unavailable, try adding a number or variation.
4. Enter the community invite code (if required).
5. Click “Continue” to proceed.

Step 2: Customize Your Avatar

Coloniz lets you personalize your experience by customizing your avatar. You can:

• Manually edit the avatar’s appearance to match your style.
• Use the randomizer to generate a unique look.

Once satisfied, click “Mint” to create your avatar. This will serve as your profile display image, but you can update it anytime.

Step 3: Complete the Passwordless Signup

Coloniz uses Controller, a secure authentication system that lets you access your account from any device without passwords. Here’s how to complete the signup process:

1. Input a wallet username (this can be different from your Coloniz username).
2. Create a passkey using your fingerprint or Face ID.
3. Enable session management by ticking the box—this ensures a smooth, uninterrupted experience on Coloniz.

Step 4: Set Permissions

To enhance your experience, Coloniz requires permission to create sessions for your profile. This does not affect your primary wallet in any way.

Step 5: Explore & Join a Colony

Now that your account is set up:

1. Click the “Explore” button.
2. Browse through available Colonies (communities).
3. Click “Join Colony” to become a member and start engaging!
